Chefs Mark Wootton and Scott Tobey of Garden Cafe, Ryan Barnett of Stephan Pyles and Flora Street Cafe, and Chef Nicole Gossling of Gossling Aprons will be cooking and serving a meal for the 280 residents of The Bridge Homeless Shelter in Downtown Dallas.

A Go Fund Me page has been set up to help pay for the dinner. The chefs are hoping to raise $40 per person, with any additional funds raised will be donated to the shelter.

Wootton said he got the idea after seeing another Go Fund Me Page with a similar goal.

ā€œEssentially itā€™s the same idea,ā€ he said. ā€œOurs is a little different because we partnered directly with The Bridge.ā€

The dinner is being hosted at the shelter on Wednesday.

The Bridge opened in 2008.
