Dust off your running shoes for a 5K this Saturday, April 10 at 8 a.m. at Winfrey Point at White Rock Lake. The event benefits the Dallas Police Department. I’m pretty sure our own Northeast commander Deputy Chief Tom Lawrence will be running the race.
And, don’t worry — no street closings for this one, just an extra crowded trail at White Rock. Register here for $30 through Wednesday (right away to get a t-shirt) or $35 at Winfrey Point beginning at 6:30 a.m. on race day.
