Trash and recycling pickup will remain as scheduled for July 4th, according to Dallas Sanitation Services.
Pickup in Lakewood will begin after the Fourth of July parade ends at noon, thanks to an accommodation granted by city officials.
Administrative offices and the Fair Oaks and Southwest transfer stations will close. The McComas Bluff Landfill and Bachman Transfer Station will remain open for public use.
