That’s how this year’s Deep Ellum Community Arts Fair is billed on its website, in addition to a description that the fair is a “raucous good time for the whole city.”

This event is free to attend and takes place this weekend, April 4-6 — 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday as well as 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. Booths will be lined up on Crowdus Street from Indiana Street to Taylor Street with some more on Taylor, east of Crowdus.

The fair will feature specials from local businesses, over 100 visual artists and live music playing throughout the weekend on four stages in our neighborhood. Musical performances will take place at the corners of Crowdus and Indiana Streets, Crowdus and Clover Streets, Crowdus and Taylor Streets, and Malcolm X Boulevard and Virgil Street.
