The Woodrow Wilson varsity softball team will play in the area round of playoffs this weekend.

There will be three games against Prosper Rock Hill, all played at Irving Ranchview High School. On Friday, May 7, the Wildcats start at 6:30 p.m. The second game begins at noon Saturday, and the third will be played right after the second, if needed.

Woodrow beat Sunset High School in the first round of playoffs, advancing to the second round after winning the first two games April 29-30.

The varsity baseball team at Woodrow is competing in the first round of playoffs this weekend. They will take on Sunset High School on Friday at 7 p.m. at J. Oates Field. On Saturday, the Wildcats begin their second game at noon at Willis Winters Park. If necessary, they’ll play a third game right after the second.

Woodrow’s baseball team secured the No. 2 seed in the District 11-5A playoffs.
