Dallas City Council members serve two-year terms, and our municipal elections are nonpartisan, so political parties are not on the ballot.
People must have registered to vote by April 1 to be eligible to cast a ballot in the May 1 election.
Early voting is from April 19-April 27, and you can vote at any Dallas County voting location during early voting.
Remember that a valid ID is required to vote.
On election day, Saturday, May 1, vote at your own polling place.
The Advocate does not endorse candidates, but we encourage our readers to get to know everyone running for City Council District 14. Their answers to our questionnaire are below.
