A Houston-based Tex-Mex chain called Fajita Pete’s plans on opening a location in Lakewood early this summer, CultureMap reported.

Construction on the eatery began in early March at 1920 Abrams Road, according to the publication.

Fajita options include beef, chicken, shrimp and veggie. They come with tortillas, rice, onions, jalapeños, refried beans, shredded cheese, pico de gallo, guacamole, lettuce, chips and salsa.

The eatery also serves quesadillas, burritos, tostadas and several entrees like chicken enchiladas.

Pete Mora founded the chain in 2002, and it has expanded to North Texas with locations in Carrollton and the Park Cities. Hugh Guill will own the Lakewood franchise.
