A 28-year-old man died Sunday, two days after he was shot in Far East Dallas, authorities said.

Police found Willie Earl Wright at about 5 p.m. Friday sitting unresponsive in the driver’s seat of a white Mercury Grand Marquis at 3200 N. Buckner Boulevard. The car, which was riddled with bullet holes, was stopped in the northbound lanes of North Buckner.

Wright was shot multiple times, and authorities transported him to a local hospital. He was on life support until he died Sunday at approximately 10:30 p.m.
