Dallas eateries may have gotten snubbed Wednesday when the James Beard Foundation announced the semifinalists for its 2020 restaurant and chef awards. But our chefs got plenty of recognition.
Four Dallas chefs were among nominees in the foundation’s newest category, Best Chef: Texas. Two were from East Dallas, and you can probably guess which ones.
Other Dallas chefs were Regino Rojas of Revolver Taco Lounge and Teiichi Sakurai of Tei-An.
Five finalists will be announced March 25.
