Louie King BBQ is temporarily closed

Louie King BBQ is temporarily closed, just six months after opening on Lower Greenville in late 2018.

The eatery is rescheduled to open June 1, according to its Yelp page.

The reason for the closure is unclear. Restaurant owners did not respond to numerous requests for comment.

Louie King opened in October in the former Daddy Jack’s space at 1916 Greenville Ave. Menu items included oddities like rabbit sliders and Akuashi brisket.
