Early voting starts today for the heated Dallas ISD runoff election between Dustin Marshall and Lori Kirkpatrick

Early voting starts today for the June 10 runoff election, as incumbent Dustin Marshall and newcomer Lori Kirkpatrick vie for the District 2 seat on the Dallas ISD school board.

Kirkpatrick had a 294-vote lead in the contentious May election, narrowly missing the 50.01 percent needed to avoid the runoff.

Polls at the Lakewood Library, 6121 Worth St., and the Dallas ISD Administration building, 3700 Ross Ave., will remain open until Tuesday, June 6.

Hours are:

  • May 6-June 3: 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.
  • June 4: 1-6 p.m.
  • June 5-6: 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
