Kingston hosts town hall for 2017 budget on Twitter

District 14 City Councilman Philip Kingston hosted a Twitter town hall yesterday where he took questions from his followers about next year’s budget. Kingston spent about an hour responding to questions and has said he will follow-up on some today.

He answered questions about DPD pay, the area’s senior population, bike lanes, Fair Park, and funding for local artists to name a few.

Kingston will host a town hall meeting on Aug. 26 at Klyde Warren Park at 2012 Woodall Rodgers from 6-8:30 p.m.
