Green Grocer to open on Greenville in September

Green Grocer, which announced last week it is opening its second store at 3614 Greenville, could be the first new grocer to open on Lower Greenville. The grocery, which has one store in Chicago, announced today that Green Grocer in Dallas is set to open in September.

Walmart and Trader Joe’s also have announced stores on Lower Greenville.

Green Grocer is teaming up with Artizone, the online grocer that focuses on local vendors, to open the new store.

“We pride ourselves on helping local purveyors find a shelf and tell their story,” Cassie Green, founder of Green Grocer, stated in a media release.

Green Grocer and Artizone already are partners in Chicago.

“Our partnership in Chicago has been a great success and we look forward to opening in the heart and community of East Dallas,” says Artizone vice presiden Lior Lavy.
