A shooting at a strip mall Sunday morning injured eight people, including two children, authorities say.
At around 12:30 a.m. police were called to the 4600 block of East R.L. Thornton Freeway, near Caldwell Street following an argument between two groups at a party, reported KXAS.
The parties were for a graduation and 60th birthday. Teens started shooting after interrupting the birthday party, and being denied alcohol, reported KDFW.
A 10-year-old and 15-year-old were among the injured.
One person went into surgery Sunday, but their condition is unknown. Police say no other injuries were life threatening.
No arrests have been made.
