It’s hard to believe, but it was true — $2.99 per gallon regular gasoline at Casa Linda’s Chevron station at the southeast corner of Buckner and Garland. At least, that was the case at noon Saturday (10/11). Here’s the really odd part: The station’s big price sign at the corner said the gas cost $3.22 per gallon. In fact, across the board on the station’s gasoline offerings, the sign was about 20-25 cents higher than the pump price.
