The Tejas Brothers will perform at Pocket Sandwich Theater.

The Pocket Sandwich Theatre is hosting Tejas Brothers this Wednesday, July 5, for an evening filled with a musical combination of Tex-Mex and country music. Band member Dave Perez, a former Marine and firefighter, discusses each of their songs and shares stories with the audience. The event begins at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $15. Arrive early for food and drinks.

As part of their Summer Movie Nights hosted every Wednesday, Sundown at Granada presents a free film screening of “Spice World”starring the Spice Girls for all you ’90s kids out there. The movie starts at 8:30 p.m. tonight, July 5.

The Bath House Cultural Center will host “Recollective,” an exhibition by Fannie Brito, Teri Muse, and Diane Walker-Gladney, starting this Saturday, July 8. A reception with the artists will be held this Saturday, from 7-9 p.m., featuring live music by Percussion Things. All events are free and open to the public. The exhibit can be seen at no cost through Aug. 5 any time the Bath House is open to the public.

Also on display from July 8-Aug. 5 will be “Whimsical,” which includes paintings by S. Chuck McCarter, who pulls inspiration from fairy tales, ancient historical epics, the Bible and other popular narratives. The exhibit will also open this Saturday at the Bath House Cultural Center with a free open house with the artist from 7-9 p.m.
