First, we were told that a significant crossroad on the trail would close for two years, so we freaked out … and now, well, surprisingly, TX DOT appears to have listened to complaints and changed the plans.

According to a Morning News story,  we should look soon for an announcement about a solution that will keep the bike trail open while the repairs are underway. It will probably close periodically, but not for two years straight as originally planned.
