New clothing store open on Henderson

Laundry, a new men’s and women’s clothing store, opened at 2323 Henderson, adjacent to fro-yo spot Natsumi, recently. Owner Amy Aldrich Clark lives in Lakewood, and she saw a hole in the retail offerings on Henderson.

“Really the only other clothing store is the Gypsy Wagon, and that’s kind of different,” she says.

Laundry sells jeans, T-shirts, accessories and other stuff. And Clark tries to order as much as possible from local and Texas makers.

You’re right. I think she would say the same thing about Emeralds to Coconuts as well. It’s a great store, but it’s totally different from this one.
