Authorities are still looking for the person accused of shooting a 27-year-old man at a nightclub in Deep Ellum earlier this month.

The shooting happened at 2:25 a.m. May 9 in the 2800 block of Elm Street, outside Vinty Nightclub. A fight broke out among people outside, and when the bouncer intervened, he was shot three times in the back.

The bouncer has been identified as Jeffery Joiner. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Police said they think the person wearing a red and white jogging suit in the video footage is responsible for the shooting.

Anyone with information is asked to contact detective Cody Clark at 214-671-3685 or cody.clark@dallascityhall.com.
