Four trees are scheduled to be removed at White Rock Lake because of the danger they pose to the public, an urban biologist for the City of Dallas said.

The trees have significant rotting and show signs of dropping limbs.

“While the trees in question certainly provide a wildlife benefit, the current condition of the trees present a safety issue to the general public utilizing the dog park,” according to the District 9 weekly update.

It is recommended that the trees be removed by May 31.
