Window Seat coffee shop was open for one day before Dallas County issued its shelter-in-place order because of the coronavirus. But owners Tom and Kristen Boyd were not to be deterred by the delay. The coffee shop is now open at 3018 Greenville Ave. to help neighbors find their sense of wanderlust every time they walk through the doors, CultureMap reported.
The interior decor conjures images of airports and airplanes complete with rounded windows and travel brochures on the wall.
“We created a window seat, which people think is airline- and plane-themed, but it’s more about that feeling of getting away, whether it’s a coffee break or if you want to plan your next trip around the world,” Kristen told CultureMap.
Drink options include drip coffee, espresso drinks, tea, hot chocolate, Italian sodas and more. Make it nonstop by adding a shot of espresso or upgrade to first class with almond or coconut milk instead of cow’s milk.
Pair your beverage with breakfast biscuits, sandwiches and grab-and-go treats, such as banana bread and cake slices.
