The long-awaited third location of Hudson House will open July 28 in Lakewood.
The 4,500-square-foot restaurant at 4040 Abrams Road is complete with an event space called The Pineapple Room that can accommodate groups of up to 14 people. The eatery also boasts the brand’s largest bar.
The interior of the former IHOP has been transformed into a sophisticated space reminiscent of the West Village in New York City. The property features more than 70 pieces of antique artwork and vintage sports memorabilia. Look for the brand’s pineapple motif hidden throughout the restaurant.
Hudson House offers all-American fare for lunch and dinner, alongside a raw bar specializing in oysters that are shipped from the East Coast daily. Popular dishes include the avocado dip, a starter made with whipped avocado, green onion, herbs and ranch chips; the cheeseburger with American cheese, pickles and Hudson sauce; and the Royal Seafood Tower with oysters, shrimp cocktail, tuna tartare, cracked king crab and a 2-pound lobster.
The third location of Hudson House comes from Hunter Pond, founder and CEO of Vandelay
Hospitality Group. The first location opened in Highland Park in 2017, followed by a spot in Addison in 2018.
