Older adults can pick up relief packages full of hygiene and sanitary products at an event next month organized by the Northeast Division of the Dallas Police Department.

Community members over the age of 55 can go to Lake Point Church from 9-11.a.m. July 24 to get a senior relief box. The box includes items like soap, masks, sanitizer, toothbrushes, protein bars, neighborhood coupons, first aid kits and more.

Seniors will also receive a light boxed lunch, according to the Dallas City Council District 9 Facebook page.

The drive-thru method allows seniors to comfortably remain in their vehicles and abide by safe social distancing practices.
