One person is dead and two are injured after a truck hit a tree and flipped Saturday on wet roads in Old East Dallas, authorities said.
The crash happened at about 10:40 p.m. near Interstate 30, NBC affiliate Channel 5 reported.
The driver, Juan Domingo Guzman Becerra, lost control of a Chevrolet truck and hit a tree.
Three people were taken to Baylor University Medical Center, where 19-year-old Juan Pablo Ramirez Becerra later died. Two others were in stable condition, according to the station.
Detectives told Channel 5 that wet roads, speed and alcohol could have caused the crash.
Becerra was arrested and faces a charge of intoxication manslaughter.
