Dallas-based Fringe Media expects to drop a new film, “Everything is A-OK: A Dallas Punk Rock Documentary,” this year.

This story of Kurt Cobain getting punched in the head during Nirvana’s legendary performance at Trees in 1991 was cut from the movie, but the filmmakers released it on YouTube last week.

Watch  Kessler Theater artistic director Jeff Liles tell the story, which also includes footage of the actual event and comments from the bouncer, Turner Van Barclum.

Please be advised that the story includes many F-bombs.
