The Tenison Glen golf course might not be with us for much longer, so take advantage of this opportunity to win two free rounds of golf.

The City of Dallas Park and Recreation Department is looking for feedback from neighbors regarding the future of the course. Participants who complete the survey will be entered into a drawing to win two free rounds of golf.

City officials are considering repurposing Tenison Glen for several reasons. The course, located next to the Tenison Highlands golf course, is difficult to maintain because of flooding caused by White Rock Creek, which runs through the property. And does the neighborhood really need two golf courses right beside each other?

Some advocate for keeping the golf course, which high school golf teams use for practice.

At a City Council meeting in January, District 9 Councilwoman Paula Blackmon suggested what could be a compromise. Blackmon said the property could be turned into a nine-hole par-3 course, and the rest could be used for a disc golf course, according to D Magazine.
