Spanish ham purveyor Enrique Tomas is making its long-awaited Dallas debut Wednesday when it opens a gourmet ham restaurant and lounge on Henderson Avenue, the Dallas Morning News reported.
Enrique Tomas will serve a variety of jamon iberico products. The menu includes Spanish cheese, jamon tasting platters, tapas and Spanish cuisine, such as an iberico secreto burger and asturian fabada, a famous white bean stew topped with shaved ham.
The 80-seat restaurant and 75-seat lounge will be open for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch.
The East Dallas location at 2822 N. Henderson Ave. is the first store in the United States for the Barcelona-based business, which has outposts in London, Paris and Mexico City.
Diners can also order 3-ounce packages of vacuum-sealed ham to take home for $12-$30. If you’ve got a big party, spring for an entire leg.
You know you’ll be getting an authentic meal when ham slicers from the company’s Barcelona headquarters will be on site for months teaching staff how to thinly cut the ham.
