The new Costco Business Center at Park Lane and Greenville Avenue debuted Thursday with free pancakes and discount prices to celebrate its opening in the neighborhood.

Costco CEO Craig Jelinek, store managers and members of the Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce cut the ribbon as the retailer opened its doors.

The location at the former Sam’s Club, 8282 Park Lane, is one of 18 business centers in the country. Costco recruited 11 managers to the Dallas location and employs around 75 people.

The Costco will be open to all members, but it is catered to small businesses. In addition to household items, it is stocked with neon open signs, cash registers and office supplies.

It will deliver within a 40-mile radius: McKinney to the north, Rockwall to the east, Fort Worth to the west and Duncanville to the south.
