If you think the gourmet donut trend has gotten out of hand, you can return to a simpler time at a new breakfast shop set to open next week on Lower Greenville.
Three Egg Muffins will serve all-natural muffins stuffed with eggs, ham, vegetables and fruit. The eatery across from Snuffer’s will also offer coffee, lemonade and other drinks, owners Angela and Andy Lee said.
“People are tired of donuts and are looking for more protein-filled breakfasts that are tasty,” Angela said. “This is a trendy place where a lot of people come to try new things. We think they’ll like our stuff.”
Before opening Three Egg Muffins, the Irving couple launched a bakery and coffee shop in north Dallas near Plano. The sold the business and spent three months renovating the vacancy on Lower Greenville.
“Nothing will be artificial,” Andy said. “Everything will be natural and simple.”
