A masked mystery man who haunted the White Rock Lake area earlier this year is back at it again.
Around 11 a.m. Tuesday, a woman working in her yard on Kirkwood Drive reported being confronted by a man wearing a camouflage mask, the Dallas Morning News reported.
The woman told Dallas police that the masked man pointed a handgun at her and said something, but she couldn’t understand him because the mask muffled his voice. She ran away and asked a neighbor for help.
Police describe the man as either white or Hispanic, in his 40s or 50s and about 5-feet, 10-inches tall with a “beer belly,” the Morning News reported. He wore the camouflage mask along with a royal blue T-shirt, black gloves, jeans and brown work boots.
In January, a man matching that description harassed two women in East Dallas neighborhoods on separate occasions, the Advocate previously reported.
In both cases, the man knocked on the front door, and a female resident answered it. They both spoke with the man, who made disturbing comments, according to the Dallas Police Department.
Police urge anyone who sees the man to call 911.
