Here’s where you can play bingo with City Council candidates

Here is a short list of issues that the Dallas City Council decides: new development, road repairs, affordable housing, bulk trash pickup and parks and trail improvements.

Casting a ballot in the election May 4 is one way to influence how these matters are handled within the neighborhood. Want to find out where candidates’ priorities lie? Attend Funky East Dallas Democrats’ City Council Candidate Bingo at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Neighbors have the opportunity to meet a few District 9 candidates and District 14 candidates. The event, described as “speed dating but with a bingo twist,” will be at Hermann Hall, 3414 Elm St. RSVP on Facebook or email jillcochran5@gmail.com.
