Three arrested in driveway robbery spree

The Dallas Police Department announced this morning that two men and one juvenile suspected in a recent string of driveway robberies have been arrested.

Police stopped a vehicle at 4:23 this morning. The car had been stolen in one of the robberies, which targeted people getting out of their cars in Old East Dallas and Oak Cliff.

The suspects’ identities were not released, and few details were given because the investigation is ongoing.

Police believe the same people are responsible for as many as nine holdups. In at least four, the robbers forced victims into their homes at gunpoint. They also have been suspected in a similar robbery in Carrolton, which was caught on video.
