What better way to announce the annual Mad Hatter’s Tea chairs and theme than with champagne flowing in Preston Hollow’s Tootsies?
The Mad Hatter’s Tea celebrates 31 years with the theme The Golden Age of Hollywood. Funds raised by the Women’s Council of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden maintain the arboretum’s A Woman’s Garden.
The tea party will take place April 11, 2019 at 10 a.m. at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Sharla Bush and Terry Irby are co-chairing the event. Kristian Bush Whitcomb is an honorary chair.
A Tootsies’ fashion show produced by Jan Strimple follows a 10 am champagne reception in the Ginsburg Plaza. Seated luncheon at noon.
“There’s nothing in Dallas like it,” said Lake Highlands neighbor Melissa Lewis. “This one is so fun and so over the top.”
Tickets begin at $350 online.
