Besides donating to several GoFundMe pages, the best way to help victims of Tuesday’s fire is donating items to the Bluffs at Lakewood or Tenison at White Rock.

Property management told the Advocate that the apartment complexes at 7510 E. Grand Ave. and 7440 La Vista Drive is the best drop-off location. There’s a covered area near the door where items can be left after-hours, too.

Items needed are:

  • Toiletries
  • Blankets and pillows
  • Sweaters, coats and clothing for all ages, including infants
  • Shoes
  • Nonperishable food
  • Diapers, baby wipes and baby formula
  • Pens, pencils, notebooks and stationary
  • Picture frames and other decorative items
  • Phone chargers
  • Dishes
  • Towels
  • Dog and cat food
