Dallas United Crew sent 31 athletes to the U.S. Rowing National Championships in Lake Natoma, California this spring, and one of its teams placed fourth in the nation. Rowers from 150 crews competed at the competition, but few other clubs brought as many rowers as the DUC.

For the fourth straight year, DUC sent both Women’s and Men’s boats to Nationals, and this year the four-man DUC boat finished fourth in the nation.  The team includes two Woodrow Wilson High School students, Andrew and William Schweitzer, who are joined by Bryce Miltenberger and Connor Alexender, an East Dallas resident who attends Lakehill Preparatory.

DUC’s women’s and men’s varsity 8+ boats placed Top 20 in the country, and the Lightweight Men’s Crew placed 23rd at Nationals.

DUC is holding a free community row July 14, where neighbors can learn about the sport and be introduced to rowing at 417 E. Lawther Drive.
