As students all over Texas begin the STAAR testing season, a local teacher has a rhythmic message for students as they face the music.

Crystal Poole, a teacher’s assistant at East Dallas’ Mt. Auburn Elementary, cowrote the lyrics with Mt. Auburn teacher Kait Grogan. “Walk up in your class with confidence, you don’t have to worry ’cause you got this,” she raps.

Elementary through high school students begin taking the state exams this week.
