Stock Woodrow’s Peace Pantry and help a local family in need

The Woodrow Peace Pantry is collecting food for families at Lee Elementary and Skyline High School this holiday season to help those experiencing homelessness and food insecurity. Neighbors can purchase items from the Amazon wish list which will be delivered directly to the school, or can bring purchased items to the school.

The specific food needs are listed below, and anything with a pop top is best.

– Canned meats
– Chili and soup
– Mac and cheese
– Pasta and pasta sauce
– Rice and beans
– Canned veggies
– Canned fruits
– Healthy snacks (granola bars, peanut butter crackers, etc)
– Any complete meals that are shelf stable
– $10 gift cards to places like Walmart, Kroger, Target, Tom Thumb that they can use to provide necessary toiletry items.
