Common Desk will rebrand Old East Dallas’ Method Coffee after purchase

The Method temporarily transforms into a Christmas pop-up shop.

Common Desk, a local coworking space with several locations around town, purchased Method Coffee in Old East Dallas.

Common Desk founder Nick Clark wanted to enter the full-service coffee market in order to separate from the competition, and when he saw Method Coffee up for sale, he took the opportunity.

Method founder Tamid Ben Yehoshua, a college friend of Clark’s, felt comfortable selling his shop to the local company. Common Desk will rebrand the shop under a new name beginning Jan. 1, but will be a Christmas pop-up store until then.

Ben Yehoshua hopes to take the Method brand to the wholesale market or open up shops outside of Dallas.
