Enjoy an entertaining history of the holidays in Dallas with Rose-Mary Rumbley

East Dallas’ Rose-Mary Rumbley, one of the most prolific storytellers in Dallas, will be entertaining guests at the Dallas Historical Society’s Holiday Program on Wednesday at noon. Rumbley will speak about the holidays in Dallas at the Margaret and Al Hill Lecture Hall in The Hall of State at Fair Park.

Rumbley wrote numerous books on Dallas History, and played a role in the 1973 con-artist movie “Paper Moon.” Dallas Morning News columnist Dave Lieber calls her the best storyteller in Dallas. She appears hundreds of times per year for book clubs, church groups colleges and more, weaving tales of Dallas history into the topic of the day.
