Attend this grant workshop and win bucks for your neighborhood project

Neighbors will have a chance to win the growSouth Neighborhood Challenge Grant, which is meant to promote neighborhood pride, resident engagement and community improvements in any part of Dallas.

Interested neighborhood or homeowner associations, civic organizations, garden groups or other nonprofits should head to the Wilson Historic District at 2801 Swiss Ave. this Saturday to attend the Grant Development Workshop. The proposed projects should serve a public purpose in promoting strong, safe and lively communities and have a chance to be awarded $10,000 in grant funds.

Eligible applicants must live within Dallas city limits, and is not required to be a registered nonprofit. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Click here for more information.
