PTSD could be involved in early morning shooting that left an Uber driver wounded

Concerned after seeing two men seated in a car pass a gun back and forth, a veteran who may be suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder fired 15 rounds into the car, injuring the driver, WFAA reports.
According to the article, the two people in the car were actually an Uber driver and passenger having a casual discussion about guns while looking at the passenger’s firearm in the parking lot of the Lakewood on the Trail Apartments on Brookside Drive.

Police say the driver, 24, was hit in the chest, and according to WFAA, the shooter rendered aid while waiting for the police and ambulance to arrive at 12:45 a.m. The victim was taken to Baylor but his condition has not been released.

John Beaty, 33, was taken into custody and booked into to Dallas County Jail on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, police report.
