Woman killed in high-speed accident on Ferguson Thursday evening

Charges could be filed against an unidentified 39-year-old man who police say caused the fatal accident in White Rock Hills yesterday evening.

Around 5 p.m., a 40-year-old man was driving his 2007 Toyota Camry through the 8400 block of Ferguson Road in the left lane. Jennifer LePore, 43, was in the passenger seat. The suspect’s vehicle approached from behind at a high rate of speed in a 2006 Chevy Malibu. He collided with the Camry, which spun out of control before wrapping around a metal pole in the center median.

LePore was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver suffered broken bones, and was taken to Baylor Hospital.
