Bank robber forces employees, customers to the ground

A robber held up four banks in three days last week, including one in our neighborhood.

The FBI is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the man, who is about 6-foot or 6-foot-4 and 210 pounds with short blonde hair.

The robber ended his spree Dec. 16 with the Chase Bank on Mockingbird at Abrams. Previous to that, he robbed a Wells Fargo in University Park and a Capital One Bank in northwest Dallas on Dec. 14. He hit a Bank of America on Cedar Springs Dec. 12.

In the first two robberies, he gave a verbal command and passed a note to demand money. In the third robbery, he pointed a small handgun at the tellers. He used a gun again in the fourth robbery and also ordered bank employees and customers to get on the ground.

Anyone who recognizes this bank robber should call Crime Stoppers, 877.373.8477, which is offering up to $5,000 for information that leads to conviction in this case.
