A sumptuous meal somehow tastes better when you know you’re giving back while eating. This weekend, you can sample creations by some of the city’s top chefs, all while raising money for the nonprofit Dallas 24 Hour Club.
John Tesar of Knife, Tim Byres of Smoke and The Theodore and Tony Street of Y.O. Ranch Steakhouse, among others, will lend their culinary skills for the 24 All Star Chef Classic. During the fundraiser, the celebrity chefs will offer bites and sips created special for the occasion. Attendees can sample the goods while taking in the music of the Jordan Kahn Orchestra.
All proceeds from the event benefit Dallas 24 Hour Club, which has providing services to recovery addicts and alcoholics in East Dallas since 1969. It offers sober transitional housing for men and women, and with the capacity to treat up to 67 clients, it is one of the largest in Texas.
