Summer workshops with Local Markets

The annual Summer Homesteading Workshop Series by Good Local Markets starts on June 25. Learn how to create artisanal goods and crafts from the markets’ experts at The Mix Co-working Space and Makers Connect. These sessions will all be held from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. The all class package is $220 with individual prices listed below. Register on their website.

June 20 – First of the two-part Jamming and Canning Class presented by Judy Cortinas from Yims Foods. The Mix. $40.

July 9 – Second part of Jamming and Canning Class presented by Judy Cortinas from Yims Foods. The Mix. $40.

July 10 – Make bath bombs with Chris Unruh. Makers Connect. $30.

July 16 – Create your own tea for tea time with John Wolf of Wolfsong Farm. The Mix. $30.

July 23 – It’s salsa and salad time with Patricia Lepe from Merlin’s Baking and Catering. The Mix. $40.

July 30 – Weave your own wall hanging in this two-part series with Ronda Van Dyk of Shabby Sheep. The Mix. $60 for both.

August 2 – Part two of the workshop with Ronda Van Dyk from Shabby Sheep. The Mix. $60 for both.

August 7 – Hand pour your own candle with Shelley Travell of Dylan Candles. Makers Connect. $35.
