Christopher, a parking lot rescue

Christopher, better known as Chris, was found in a vacant parking lot next to the Fireplace Lounge on a warm day in July. After being rescued by her now best friend, David Kirkpatrick, Chris fell very ill and some vets thought she’d be better off being put down. Her human refused to give up on her and now she’s better than ever, so good she even snuck into the sidelines of this year’s Newellian Easter parade. — Afton Guedea
