Sneak peek: Construction on Dream Cafe is plugging along

We learned last summer that the Dallas-based restaurant Dream Cafe signed a lease for the space where Fuzzy’s Taco Shop used to be at Abrams and Mockingbird. They hoped to open last year, but construction is still ongoing.

There are two Dream Cafe locations — one in Uptown and one in Addison — that have been serving the Dallas area for more than 20 years. Although Dream Cafe is probably best known for its breakfast and weekend brunch, it serves wide lunch and dinner menus full of fresh, “wholesome” American cuisine, including a solid handful of gluten free options. The East Dallas location is owned by Lakewood neighbor Christine Lott.

Learn more about Dream Cafe on the website and Facebook page.
