Food news: The sign is up at Rex’s, kickoff for DFW Restaurant Week and Luscher’s is on Artizone


Here’s a short list of some neighborhood food news:

Months after Rex’s Fresh Seafood and Market signed a lease to take over the old Genaro’s space, the restaurant finally put up a sign out front to announce its arrival.

DFW Restaurant Week kicked off today and runs through Aug. 16. East Dallas restaurants, including St. Martins Wine Bistro and Clark Food & Wine Co., are participating. Read more.
