This weekend: A circus extravaganza with Lone Star Circus

Starting this weekend, Dec. 27 and running until Jan. 4, join Dallas Children’s Theater for a circus extravaganza featuring an international cast of acrobats, aerialists, hand balancers, jugglers, clowns and more. Through Jan. 31, see “Levitas: A Photographic Investigation of Weightlessness” at the Bath House Cultural Center, an exhibit that features the work of 17 photographers who were asked to create a photographic image that best captures their ideas, narratives, and responses concerning lightness, zero g-forces, defiance of gravity, airiness, levity, and ethereality. Bath House Cultural Center, 521 E. Lawther. The exhibit is free.

Also through Jan. 31, see “The Art of Nature” at the Bath House Cultural Center, a mixed-media art exhibition that features recent works by Silvia Thornton and Anne Neal. The works in this exhibition show what happens when an artist’s inspiration is applied to gifts from nature and earth. Bath House Cultural Center, 521 E. Lawther. The exhibit is free.
