Fire closes Greenville Avenue at Walnut Hill this morning

Crime_genericThe building that used to be  Uncle Julio’s on Greenville just north of Walnut Hill has been burning for most of the night, and the fire has closed Greenville between Walnut Hill and Meadow this morning just in time for rush hour.

No word yet on what caused the fire in the vacant building,  which has been empty for so long that most of us probably don’t remember there was an Uncle Julio’s there. Apparently, many homeless stay in the building, and fire officials are worried some of them were in the building when the fire started.
